We named our business Cyd after a trailblazing woman, who was courageous and transformational in a time when women weren't allowed to take the lead.
It's our way of honouring the women who came before us, who stepped up and connected with each other to pave the way for the next generations. Cyd is part of who we are, she sits at our table and inspires us every day to speak up and be the change.
Meet the Co founders
Aisling Connaughton
Sustainability Solutionist
Aisling’s 18-year global career in PR spans sustainability, marketing and communications in Beauty & Technology. As well as being a sustainability solutionist at Cyd Connects, she also sits on the board of OPOGO, an ed-tech social enterprise.
Aisling holds a Masters in Social Entrepreneurship from Goldsmiths University of London. She is a proud member of the University of Cambridge Wo+Men Leadership Centre and received a scholarship to the Cambridge Judge Business School Rising Women Leaders Programme.

Jenn McGarrigle
CEO
With over 12 years experience in the health, beauty and wellness industries, Jenn is a brand strategy expert with experience working for some of the largest corporations in the UK as well as start ups.
Her unique and varied experience across brand, content, digital, PR and communications allows her to view brands holistically to set the right foundation for growth. Her personal passion for sustainability and working to reduce the affects we have on our planet, led her to start Cyd connects with her business partners Aisling and Mica.
As a feminist and a mother, Jenn enjoys mentoring young women in business, helping them to build their career, confidence and ambitions to create an equal world.
